Trick or Treat! Halloween Costume Roundup

Halloween costume roundup

Halloween is tomorrow! EEEK! Can you believe how fast this year is going? I mean, when was the fourth of July? Where did summer go? Right out the window, thats where! Sheesh! This year is blazing by. But, with that said, we approach some exciting, fun holidays. First up, halloween! YEEEE!

Now, I have no idea what I will be doing tomorrow night. As you know, Halloween is no longer about trick or treating for us elders, but that doesn’t mean you can’t dress up and have fun. Right? To be honest, I haven’t had the opportunity to even think about it! Which, I know… lame. But you guys, these past couple of months have been IN-SANE. Seriously. SO, my mind hasn’t been focused on costumes… although I think it would be fun for Karl, Me and Harpie to all be German Shepard’s … but that is besides the point.

There are so many fun ideas floating around the web. From DIY, to last minute costumes and I want to share some of my favorites! Plus, if you’re like me, you might need some very last minute costume inspiration.

1. Despicable Me: Bethany Mota’s DIY costume is so cute, comfortable and totally looks the part. See it here on YouTube.

2. Mermaid: Lauren Conrad’s mermaid costume is a DIY dream! I have to say she stole this look from baby Jamie’s 1991 halloween collection, but I’ll let her slide this time. See it here on Laurenconrad.com.

3. Ice Cream Cone: Leave it to Studio DIY to come up with the most amazing halloween costumes! This ice cream cone costume is so cute, I could just eat it up! See it here on Studio DIY.

4. Mary Poppins and Bert: This has been one of my favorites for a few years. I still have yet to replicate this one, but it would be such a fun couple costume. See it here on Keiko Lynn.

5. Moonrise Kingdom or Royal Tenenbaums: Oh Happy Day’s creative spirit is ingenious! All of these mini costumes would be fun for any adult as well as any child. Anything Wes Anderson in my opinion is a must! See it here on Oh Happy Day.
