For quite some time I’ve enjoyed mix matching patterns, textures and prints. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely remember the days when I believed in matching EVERYTHING. My girlfriends and I would buy these $5 Old Navy flip flops in every color, blue, black, white, pink, ect. and match them with the right corresponding outfit. Yes! Our 8th grade style game was so trendy. Now, I’m trying to shape my closet more towards having great pieces that will last, instead of buying a million cheaper items on “trend”– which is a lesson we can all learn. In other words, just because crop tops and cut offs were big in Summer, does not mean we should all walk into a Forever 21 and buy them. We are all different shapes and sizes– but that is a whole other conversation.

Anyway! This fall I continue to embrace mixing some of my favorite textures and prints. In this look, I’m pairing one of my favorite flannels (let’s be real, we love them all) with the perfect leopard clutch, embellished with black and gold of course.
