I love Valentine’s Day. No sarcasm or anything… I really do! Its kind of one of my favorite holidays. Can I claim it a holiday? Because I am.
There is no better time than VDAY to embrace the people you love. Think of it like a birthday, but for everyone on the same day, lots of heart decor, and everything in pink or red. How amazing is that?!
Because food is the best indulgence, in my book, I enjoy any excuse to spoil the ones I love with delicious treats.
Since VDAY is on a Saturday this year, I think a lovie dovie brunch is in order and this blood orange juice recipe would be perfect to wake up to! Followed by XOXOXO — thats code for something exciting coming to the blog in a few days!
I like to give this recipe some pazazz by adding ginger and lemon. The ginger cuts the citrus flavor making it less bitter and more sweet.

- 4-8 blood oranges
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 1 lemon
- Place all ingredients into a juicer, then stir! Alternatively, you could use a hand juicer.
