Inspiration: Paper + Prints

I’m always looking around the web, to my favorite brands and really, everywhere for inspiration. It could be a beautiful plate of bruschetta, custom marbled wrapping paper, a photograph, or even save the date cards that get those creative juices flowin’. Because I’m a bit typography and paper obsessed, I often pull my biggest ideas from looking through mailers from companies such as Minted. I end up keeping them for months just to have incase I need another form of inspiration. Weird, I know. But if you think about it, inspiration is all around us. Its just how we interpret it and what we create from it.

Recently I came across a new save the date collection from Minted and I’m loving all the geomtric shapes and sharp lines they are using as seen in the example below.

I’ve been experimenting with more watercolor lately in my designs. As you might know, I’m a big fan of black and white but I’m starting to integrate some bright color combinations.
